LACS

LACS is a simple way to classify digital assets based on their origin: Human-Made, AI-Assisted, or AI-Generated.

Label Your Assets for Transparency

Promote transparency, empower consumers, and build trust in the digital marketplace.

The LACS Asset Classification Standard (LACS) is a straightforward, self-declared system designed to bring transparency to the origin of digital assets. By labeling your assets with LACS, you empower consumers to make informed decisions and build a more trustworthy digital marketplace.

How to Label Your Assets

It’s easy! Choose the label that best describes your asset’s creation process and add it to your asset’s title, description, or tags:

LACS Classification Label Badge
Human-Made LACS-H
AI-Assisted LACS-A
AI-Generated LACS-G

For detailed guidance on integrating LACS labels into various file formats, for example 3D models or textures, and how to denote your LACS classification in asset marketplaces, please refer to Appendix A of the LACS specification.
